Our Business Model

We are a privately held Georgia company with a very simple business model. Buygeorgia is an online community created for Georgians by Georgians with the belief that Georgians can do more business with each other and spark economic development throughout the state.

As we become more Georgia Conscious in purchasing decisions for our businesses and homes, our Georgia based companies grow, they add staff, more Georgians find jobs, and more tax dollars are generated to fund the programs that are important to all Georgians.

Partners (Georgia companies) pay an annual membership fee to list and advertise their businesses. Each Partner offers online promotion incentives to encourage Georgians to do business with them.

Partners offer custom online incentives to our Members and Guests. Members receive the best incentives.

Georgians access the online incentives in several ways. Patron Members (Georgia employers) pay an annual membership of $1 per Georgia employee to join the community. Patrons and their employees have access to the best incentives.

Private Members (Individuals) can join the community as well and pay a nominal annual fee to access the same incentives as the Patrons.

Our Guests (the General Public) have free access and receive special incentives offered to them by our Partners.

Chambers of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), and Georgia Charities have free access to buygeorgia for promoting their organizations and making their events and festivals known to Georgians. Employees of these organizations receive Patron Member benefits free of charge.

Buygeorgia invests most of its proceeds in promoting the buygeorgia community. We also donate five percent of our proceeds to Georgia children’s charities throughout the state.

Our Georgians Newsletter provides timely articles about Georgia People, Places and Businesses that are of interest to Georgians.
